The Cy-Hawk game calls for a little extra attitude—and maybe a few questionable decisions. The question isn't whether we'll break a few rules and take a few liberties with our Central Iowa Cyclone friends… we did! Join us for an Animal House-inspired evening full of outrageous fun, classic cafeteria-style eats, and plenty of Hawkeye pride. After all, we're not going to sit quietly while anyone badmouths the Iowa Hawkeyes!
Tailgate Theme: Animal House
Apparel: Channel your inner Animal House character with college-themed looks, letter sweaters, toga-inspired outfits, and plenty of black and gold.
Food & Drinks: We're bringing back the cafeteria! Think classic comfort food served up Rose Club style, with plenty of game-day drinks to go around.
Charity of the Tailgate: Langland Family Be a Light Foundation
The foundation's mission is to remember and honor the life of Brooke Anne Langland, who died unexpectedly at the age of 17 in November of 2020. Brooke was a senior at Liberty High School in the Iowa City Community School District and a member of the award-winning dance team. The foundation will utilize funds to create college scholarships for Liberty High School students, support the dance team, and support other local charities in Brooke's name.
