Iowa vs Northern Illinois

🌺 FryFest Beach Bash: Why We Wave

Saturday, September 5 | Iowa Hawkeyes vs Northern Illinois Huskies

Kickoff: 3:15 PM

FryFest | Hall of Fame | Gold Out Game

We're kicking off the season with one of our favorite traditions—and one of our most meaningful days of the year. For the third consecutive year, The Rose Club is proud to welcome families from the Why We Wave Foundation, giving our young cancer warriors a chance to enjoy a fun-filled day at the tailgate and wave to their friends at the Stead Family Children's Hospital. This year, we'll welcome seven pediatric cancer warriors and approximately 45–50 family members and guests for an afternoon of food, fun, and plenty of Rose Club hospitality.

Tailgate Theme: Beach & BBQ

Apparel: Bring your black and gold leis and your best Hawaiian shirts! Beachwear, tropical prints, and plenty of Hawkeye spirit encouraged.

Food & Drinks: BBQ favorites including burgers, brats, and hot dogs, followed by an ice cream social for our special guests. We'll also have island-inspired drinks to keep the beach vibes going.
