Spring 2025 Updates

Updated: Aug 7

We have completed the first official Rose Club event of 2025. On April 26th, we hosted the 2nd annual baseball fundraiser, hosted about 60 people and raised $1,500.00 and got pledges for another $1,500 or so dollars. So not big money, but I was told that Rick Heller was very appreciative.

For the second straight year, we had members of the Iowa baseball game attend (Ace Cade Obermueller and Reece Beuter, both who got wins this weekend!) and had Joe Parker, who works for Beth Goetz, gives us some updates about athletic department activities, especially with new baseball renovations. And to everyone’s surprise, Wood even brought food that was worth eating! We have now had 3 baseball players who have or will be drafted and Iowa football AA and Super Bowl champ at these fundraisers!

And this baseball team! Not the most talented team in Iowa baseball history, they just keep winning! 20-4 in the big ten and 4 big ten 3 game sweeps, well is just almost unheard of…
