Why We Wave Event and Fundraiser 2024

In the fall of 2024, The Rose Club Foundation partnered with the Why We Wave Foundation, which supports families affected by pediatric cancer and celebrates the tradition of waving to the children at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. We hosted 10 families for a memorable game day experience, complete with tailgate eats, an ice cream social, and plenty of fun.
To date, we’ve donated $1,500 to the Why We Wave Foundation and The Wave.
In 2025, we’re proud to continue this partnership by hosting 10–15 families (approximately 50 guests) and presenting a donation on behalf of The Rose Club Foundation to further support their mission.
